I took part in a competiton for the 2014 Groovin’ the moo festival, this is the result not sure which one I like the most. I tried to make the logos with lots of personality and utilize the normal way I draw rather than making the trying to create a logo like I have seen others.
This was the brief:
We’re calling all artists & designers to create a GTM community shield logo for our annual t-shirt design competition. Groovin the Moo prides itself on a strong connection to its unique locations and local communities. The fields, paddocks, farmers and folk are just as much part of the event as the guitars, amps, gaffer tape and set lists.
For this years GTM TEE Competition, we are asking participants to develop a GTM Community logo or shield which captures the relationship between the event and its unique setting. Each year Groovin the Moo develops a fresh approach to its artistic campaign, and so we ask that you don’t use any existing or previous GTM branding (check out the terms and conditions for other restrictions). We only need your design to carry the handle “Groovin the Moo” (or “GTM” for short) – the rest is up to you.
